This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

So dear donor, please help my students obtain a hands-on STEM learning experience. In today’s classrooms, many students are constantly working on worksheets and using computers. There’s not enough time and funds for meaningful and creative exploration to inspire creativity and problem-solving. I teach highly gifted students in a low-income school who deserve such a learning experience.

I would like to give them an opportunity to work on creative projects using a variety of STEM kits during the last three days of school to inspire a love for project-based learning as well as incorporated learning groups.
