Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Please help me provide my STEM students with a way to extend their learning with the math and science centers. I work at a Title 1/Low-Income school. My students still feel the aftermath of the pandemic and they are having a difficult time catching up to their grade level. With these centers, I can extend their learning and provide multiple ways to ensure they grasp the concept. With these materials, students get more hands-on experience with manipulating number cards and various math and science topics that will lead them to mastery of the content. Students will use the power pens to play interactive math games that will strengthen their mathematical abilities, specifically with addition and subtraction. The Science centers will give students materials that that can complete as they learn throughout our curriculum.
