Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Color books and colored pencils will help my students learn about STEM careers. Cleaning supplies like spray & wipes will help us maintain a sanitary environment for students learn about STEM careers & opportunities.

Learn by doing has become a popular concept in my STEM classroom.

My students really look forward to role-playing activities to learn about STEM careers.

The students in my classes are curious and creative. They learn best when they can apply the lessons using hands-on experiences. A typical unit in my classroom includes background on the topic followed by small groups visiting stations related to the topic. Such stations typically are categorized by building, science, art, reading, etc.
