My Project
All students can learn! STEM and STEAM experiences for all scholars help to improve their understanding critical thinking and problem solving abilities. My students have been identified under IDEA and are receiving services to help them meet academic goals in reading, mathematics, writing and social emotional learning. This year, I am working as a part of our school's STEM team and would like to support my students through hands on experiences with the engineering design process. Students in my Exceptional Learner's General Education classroom will benefit from hands-on and realistic, scientific exploration kits as a part of their Individualized learning programs.
In addition, transcurricular, informational text will increase their interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematical career choices and aide in project based learning activities.
