This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
After teaching for 12 years, I’ve tried every which way to give my students all possible resources to better their education. I love how excited they get about learning science and want to make sure I can engage them at all times.
My students are very young yet their minds are always on the go wanting to explore as much as possible.
The more hands-on that I can give them the more they will be able to learn. There's nothing like seeing their smile at the opportunity to see science right in front of them.
My Project
This camera will help my students feel like they’re a part of every lesson. When doing labs during science as well as all STEM activities, I want my students to be able to see in detail every part of the experiment.
Since my students are young 6 year olds, it is important for them to be as involved as possible.
With this document camera they can be involved and dig deeper into what we are investigating.
Giving technology opportunities to my students is a big deal to me. I want them to be able to experience the same things other kids do.
