My Students

Last year was my first year teaching and it was nothing shy of amazing. I want to give these children more. Please think about helping me and my amazing students. Technology is such an important thing in schools. I work at a charter school; charter schools are still public schools. I think some people think that charter schools receive more funding and that is not true. Almost half of my students come from low-income families. They come to our school for a chance at a better education.

My Project

Please think about supporting my classroom and my amazing student. You should see the joy in their faces when they build something. Right now we have a lot of make shift stem building bins (cups, cubes, straws and pipe cleaners) imagine my students excitement when they received these amazing new stem building toys. I can't wait for them to use these and see what they can come to with. They beg me to play with our stem bins instead of going to recess most days. These help foster a love for Science engineering in the classroom. My kids ask me to take pictures of the creations to send home, that's how proud they are.
