Welcome to the our classroom, the place for eighteen “beary” cute kids and two teachers who love them "beary" much! Together we form a school family that works together to grow and develop through play, the way children learn best.
Although it looks like we're just playing, the children are engaging in learning activities that are enjoyable and memorable.
Through participation in these activities and the support of quality teacher talk, the children develop the ability to get along with others, learn cognitive and language strategies and acquire the building blocks for a strong foundation for school success. Most importantly, in our classroom, there's a lot of giggles as they develop a love of learning through play.
My Project
Children learn so many skills as they create and build in the block center. I want to add materials such as construction vehicles, traffic signs, air, land and sea transportation, community garages and a train station with tracks so that my students can build a town of their own.
By using the STEM approach to learning in the block center, the children will learn about science, technology, engineering and math skills.
I look forward to using these materials and interacting with my students by asking them higher order thinking questions. These materials are sure to make a difference in my students’ future!
