This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our Kindergarten students are wonderful and caring children with a bright educational future ahead of them. I want to provide my new students with the right start they need and deserve when they begin their educational careers. My goal is to make their first school experience a tremendous one.
Our students are motivated to learn, play, and achieve success!
Our school has made tremendous gains over the past 12 years, moving from one of the lowest-performing schools in the area to achieving the honor of being named a Distinguished School! We are an example of a community of students, teachers, parents, and staff, all working together for academic achievement. Our hope is that many of our students will be the first generation in their family to go to college!
My Project
My students love getting their creative juices flowing through STEM projects. They will be able to design structures, letters, words, people, animals, the possibilities are endless. These blocks are so simple and that is what makes them so exciting. My students are going to love making exceptional things out of something so simple.
Our kindergarten students need more opportunities to explore through STEM activities.
These blocks are going to allow them to be creative through design. I will use these blocks as a brain break, during choice time, and to explore our science standards.
Students our going to love learning and building at the same time. I can't wait to give my students this fun and creative opportunity!
