STEM Bins - In Need of Supplies

My students need magnets, pipe cleaners, rubber bands, straws, ziplock baggies and much more in order to create their STEM challenges.

My Students

I am so excited to meet my new first graders in just a few weeks!! This year I am starting to use STEM bins and I really need help getting this project up and running. I know their little minds will be fully stimulated and can grow from this project. I can just imagine their little faces and hands creating and building with these AWESOME STEM Bins! We are a Title One School so our funding is at a bare minimum.

My Project

The proper materials for a STEM Bin will allow children to engage and it encourages creativity. It is hands on and it makes children think outside the box and collaborate with their peers. Our Primary School has never used STEM Bins so it would be a blessing to share these with my teammates if funded. Over the summer I got flexible seating and a maker table so now I just need to fill up the maker table with the proper supplies. Having pipe cleaners, rubber bands, plates, paper clips, cotton balls, small cups, magnets, tooth picks, spoons, straws, ziplock baggies, and tape are a great way for my kiddos to create an array of the task cards that they will be given. This would be an absolute dream come true for my students to be. I know they would benefit so much from it!!!
