Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The 5th graders in my class are creative, fun to be around, and eager to learn. They all have different personalities and and experiences that make them who they are. This diverse and fun-spirited group always knows how to put a smile on your face. They constantly find ways to amaze me with their unique interests and special touches that they add to everything that they do.

My Project

STEM bins would allow my students the opportunity invent, create, and problem-solve! With these materials students could put their creative ideas into action. Not only do STEM bins make learning engaging and hands-on, but they also encourage students to think out of the box. STEM bins allow students to begin engineering and grow a love for science.

These STEM bins would be used often by all of my science students at a variety of different levels.

The magnetic tiles, building bricks, kinetic sand and other requested items could be used for many different activities that promote hands-on and creative learning in the classroom. STEM bins challenge students to think imaginatively, creatively, and inventively. I can't wait to see what the students create with these materials.
