My Project

I teach in a rural school where 100% of students receive free lunch.

BETA is a national organization that promotes academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among students.

Our BETA and STEM clubs need glue sticks, chenille stems, magnets, beads, paint, K’NEX, paper, and clay to create various pieces for BETA and STEM competitions.

Through service and leadership, students learn values like integrity and perseverance. BETA and STEM conventions feature competitions in areas such as academics and the arts providing opportunities to learn how to work with others. BETA and STEM encourage students to excel in academics and leadership roles. The learning outcome or goal is for students to improve STEM skills through BETA and STEM competitions.
