it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Baseball and Dodger fever is taking over Room 12. Grape Street Elementary is a LAUSD priority school where all students receive Title I funding. This year my students learned the fundamentals of football, trained for physical fitness testing, and now are focused on learning about America's pastime.
Help my students apply our STEM learning into practice on the baseball diamond by making our science of baseball lessons come to life during PE.
The hitting/ pitching training nets, baseball bats, balls, and tape measures will provide my students opportunities to apply their learning of physics to the fundamentals of baseball.
