Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have some of the sweetest first graders on the planet! They work so hard in and out of the classroom. It has been such a pleasure to continue my teaching career with these wonderful children. They make every day worth my time. Even though they have been set back due to this crazy year we have had with COVID, I have noticed that they let nothing stand in their way of learning!

My Project

These items will be used for multiple things. I will be creating STEM bins full of tiny building supplies, the kids can use to build their imagination.

This will help our children explore and discover the exciting things they can do and build.

One of the bigger Items in my list is a building block set, I plan to use this to have the students create an image or 3D object and then write about it in a short story they can create in their writing center. I am very excited to have the opportunity to help and watch my kiddos minds grow through sensory and STEM.
