My Students

My students come to school each day excited, happy, and eager to learn. In kindergarten,​ every experience is new and exciting. The growth my students make throughout the year is truly amazing. I dreamed of becoming a teacher and each day spent with my students feels like a fairytale come true.

My students come from different areas of our city. Our classes are ethnically, academically, and economically diverse. Despite their differences, students share a common enthusiasm to learn.

My Project

I incorporate STEM into my kindergarten classroom as much as possible. My young and eager students are always ready to work together and try something new. Imagine their excitement as they create​ their own unique robot and bring it to life! The Gear Bot robot will be a great addition to our STEM activities. The shape sensory bins will not only help us practice our shapes but using tweezers will also help us develop our fine motor skills. The shapes can be replaced with numbers and other materials for more sensory bin fun!
