Please help us build our PBL tool kits. Students will be using these tools to build their vertical gardens for Science class and for future interdisciplinary STEM building projects. We have also requested items that will help us store these tools and help keep our classroom clean during the building and painting days! In our current project, students are designing vertical gardens as a solution to support more sustainable food production and more local agricultural lands being developed into suburbs. We have slowly been building our toolkits, but our students need a saw horse so that they can safely saw the wood used in their builds. We also need storage bins for our group tool kits, tarps and cleaning supplies to help keep our classrooms clean after the kids build and paint, and a drill to assist students in assembling their vertical gardens. Our students will experience the engineering design process by making their project designs a reality.
Through hands-on learning, we are supporting our students' social emotional, and collaborative growth.
They will learn how to collaborate, communicate, and problem-solve through their work on this project and many more to come. These kits will help us provide them with the tools they need for hands-on experience.
The tissues will help us as we've run out. There are lots of colds going around and our kids are in need of tissue. Lastly, the posters for the US Constitution and government will support our civics learning and help us to incorporate civics into our projects. Thank you for your consideration.
