My Students

I love teaching 5 and 6 year old Kindergarten students. I am in my seventh year of teaching at a Title I school. My students are very inquisitive and love learning.

My goal in Kindergarten is to help my students meet rigorous core standards in Operations and Algebraic Thinking.

I will accomplish this goal through Math & STEM centers daily.

My students love highly engaging, hands on activities during Independent centers. I am requesting a collection of STEM and Math activities for my Kindergarten classroom, which will help them analyze information and learn to solve complex problems.

My Project

STEM & Math center activities are very engaging for young children. They include hand-on manipulatives to help them solve problems.

The STEM activity centers will enable students to follow directions and use blocks and bricks to build projects to match criteria on the visual reference cards.

Students will also work in pairs and have a partner check their work and test out their building project to see if it meets the criteria. The Math activity centers will allow students to work with manipulatives and visual aides to solve addition and subtraction equations.

I am requesting a collection of STEM, Addition, and Subtraction Activities to help my Kindergarten students develop their abilities to analyze information and solve complex problems.

These center activities will be perfect for 5 & 6 year old creative exploration.
