My Project

Without manipulatives students often struggle to grasp advanced math concepts. In combination with ten frames, the magnetic discs will help students visualize two digit numbers to include adding, subtracting and the more difficult, regrouping. They can sweep the wand across their ten frames to start with another number! How fun is that! Like magic!

Students will use the STEM building manipulatives for creating shelters in our Needs and Wants Unit.

Working together in groups students will be given various materials to build a shelter. Each group will build with different manipulatives representing how materials differ around the world.
