My Project
Our job as educators is to prepare our students for jobs that don't even exist yet. In order to do that, we must start early and provide hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, art and math. We work on team building, SEL skills, creativity, and problem solving in all areas of our day.
I chose STEAM activities that have been proven to be engaging for first graders.
The STEM bins allow for creativity, imagination, collaboration, and making mistakes.
I strive to create a positive, calm environment. I have selected classroom rugs that will help to achieve this.
I am so thankful for the support in helping my kiddos dream big, and learn to be learners!
