With the arrival of our skis, we have set up skiing kits for teachers to take out to recess with them. Our school has a couple of hills and some long, flat spots on the playground. The teachers and paraprofessionals will be overseeing small ski groups every recess time. We have outdoor play every day for 2 hours (our preschool program is an all-day program). The skis allow for variety of skill practice and will liven up recess time for sure.\r\nThank-you for supporting these little ones on their outdoor adventures. We use the rekenrek arithmetic frames almost daily and many kids are demonstrating a stronger ability to see a quantity without needing to count by 1s. \r\n\r\n The hopscotch carpet has reinforced basic number identification up through ten for students working at that entry level. For many children at our school, the library is their primary—and sometimes only—access to books they can choose independently. Students frequently ask for new titles, and their excitement is immediate and contagious whenever new books arrive. Keeping our collection updated is essential to sustaining their motivation to read and to building a strong, schoolwide culture of literacy. Your support helps ensure that our library remains a place where curiosity is encouraged, imaginations are sparked, and students feel empowered to explore stories that interest them.\r\nThis project adds a collection of engaging, high-quality books that support literacy development, encourage exploration, and reflect a wide range of experiences and cultures. New books invite students to read more often, try unfamiliar genres, and make meaningful connections to texts that mirror their lives or expand their understanding of the world. Because many of our students have limited access to books outside of school, expanding our library directly impacts their academic growth, confidence, and love of reading. These books will be available for all K–5 students to check out, enjoy during read-alouds, and revisit throughout the year. By supporting this project, you are providing consistent access to quality literature and helping nurture a lifelong love of reading that will stay with our students long after they leave our library. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to our students and to the power of books.","fullyFundedDate":1767841268133,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-the-baby-sitters-club-to-booksh/9983960/","projectTitle":"Bringing the Baby-Sitters Club to Bookshelves","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McMillen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10397056"},{"teacherId":1978155,"projectId":8022044,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to our project.
