I have some very creative and active minds. My students love to use hands-on experimentation in order to learn and grow. The real-life experiments cement a love of learning and helps give practical experiences in problem-solving.
I am looking for a simple and fun way to teach children to use their hands and minds to problem solve.
I would like to provide opportunities for them to explore the world of math and science in new and creative ways.
My Project
I intend to use the STEM activities to reward the class with special STEM days. I believe that having STEM building kits with hands-on experiences will enhance learning.
STEM activities will encourage a love for learning and help students make connections to real-world concepts.
This will help students work together as teams and synthesize new ideas in order to successfully complete their projects.
Team building will improve critical thinking and communication within the team. It will help teach cooperation, perseverance, and promote a growth mindset among the children. The children won't even realize that they are learning valuable skills as they experiment and play. They are sure to grow and bloom with a strong STEM.
