STEM Activities For Special Learners

My Project

The students in our Sail program love to engage with objects that they can manipulate and explore. They are inquisitive and curious and need activities that are safe, yet fulfill the learning standards for their grade level. I have spent much of my weekend modifying the standards with the help of one of our district SPED teachers in order to pinpoint the best tools for learning.

My students with special needs must try harder than others to engage in STEM activities.

They need stimulating, high interest activities that are washable and do not pose a choking hazard. Having an ample number of activity sets ensures that students can rotate through stations and enjoy all the centers offered.
