This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders know that doing hard and new things helps their brains grow stronger. They love having the opportunity to be creative and build things with their friends and by themselves and get those brains growing.

In my classroom, "Brain Bin" activities give my students a chance to think critically and creatively.

Students engage in various STEM activities and have the opportunity to try different activities each week. Brain Bins also give my students the essential time to work collaboratively with their peers and build their social skills, problem-solving strategies, and conflict-resolution strategies.

By helping to purchase new activities for our Brain Bins, you'll ensure there are enough activities for all students to engage fully and students can grow their brains even more by trying different activities each week.
