My Project
The students for whom these supplies are intended are part of the education programs we have at our school in Massachusetts. Some of these students deal with substantial cognitive and physiological challenges, in addition to many socio-economic challenges.
Despite the challenges they face (or, perhaps, because of them) it is so wonderful to see how much they both learn from and enjoy activities such as these.
My students rotate from center to center to engage in various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) activities during a 40-minute block of time. I need plenty of durable, appealing tools for each center. Students with autism and other special needs require activities that allow them to create despite limited fine motor skills.
