My Students

This school year is unlike anything we have had to deal with, but I have 22 students that are very eager to learn all that they can in 5th grade. They are not letting COVID ruin their learning! They also love to read as many books as they can. My students come from low income homes. They also love using technology in a way that helps them learn. They are very competitive. I love that all my students are so willing to learn. A couple of my students are just moving into the U.S. which makes learning a challenge but they want to be at school and learn.

My Project

Having these materials in my classroom will allow me to plan STEM activities. The project includes a printer, headphones, a cart, and STEM materials. My students will also be able to use the materials to be able to create in a MAKER space. They could also use the flexible seating in the classroom.

My awesome students have been wanting to do more STEM activities and getting this project funded would help them do that.

Having a MAKER space would also allow them to start getting creative, which I know that all my students have the capability for doing. Having this project funded would mean the world.
