My students are smart, caring and always ready to solve problems. Our school has many dedicated teachers who provide rigorous instruction to students in pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. Our goal is to motivate, challenge and prepare our students for success in high school, college and their future careers.
My third-grade class is comprised of eighteen creative and hardworking students from diverse backgrounds.
They come to school each day excited to learn and be with one another. Some of their interests include drawing, reading, football, soccer, and jump-roping! My students look forward to coming to school and I'd like to keep it that way!
My Project
Our school's STEM week is coming up and there is a lot of engineering, building, and creating during that week. I want my classroom to be stocked with materials to provide my students with opportunities to create projects they are proud of.
These materials will help students plan, design, and test different materials to see who can create the strongest structures.
Along with building, my students will also be able to keep their creations safe in containers when they go home each day. They will be able to store their projects in different containers and pick up where they left off the next day.
The adhesive vinyl will help make my student's projects neat and unique. They will be able to cut out letters and images on our Cricut machine to put onto their presentation boards. We will also use the HTV vinyl to make tshirts for our class. They will be so excited to design and wear these tshirts during their presentations. They will present their boards and projects to the rest of the school at the end of STEM week and feel good doing it!
