This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help us get a FlashForge 3D printer! This tool will help our students learn 21st Century skills and will allow students to engage in new opportunities and activities. These 3D printing experiences will foster creativity. Students will use their creativity to design builds and then will have the chance to see these ideas become physical items. They will also be able to print scale models of science concepts or math manipulatives. Students will engage in the engineering design process and this will boost their problem solving skills. Overall, this 3D printing technology will challenge students to work together as teams to design models that may help them discover innovative solutions. These skills will prepare students for the future!

They will engage in the engineering design process.

The students will also use the ramps to learn about forces. These activities will directly support our science and engineering standards in third grade. The plastic cards will help students solve division problems.
