This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a STEAM school, where my students are called the World Changers, because I hope to inspire them to be leaders who make choices to improve our Earth's climate, communities, and ecosystems. Each year, we do a unit on Green Futures, where my students make digital presentations on the UN Sustainability Goals. The students present what the problems facing our Earth are, and create calls-to-action to inspire others to make a difference and promote change. My students make multi-media call-to-action posters.

We need a professional digital camera to incorporate photography into their projects and enhance the quality of our STEAM projects.

The addition of this camera will really make our project-based learning come to life and get the students to be even more college and career ready.
