Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very special! Most of my students come from low-income families as we are located in a low-income area. Our school is a Title 1 school. Even through demanding times, our students come to school with a drive and a willingness to learn and succeed.
Most of my students will be the first in their families' to go to college.
As young as my students are, they are already ecstatic about their future. They are determined to put in what it takes in order for them to succeed. I am beyond proud of them.
My Project
They will need the Chromebook to investigate the "Technology" section of the word STEAM. Students will be able to discover, create, and design projects which can then be transferred over to the Cricut to be cut and printed and brought to life.
Technology and Education are constantly evolving along with the interests of my students.
Bringing their projects to real life will help them with the letter "E" in STEAM as they are using engineering to help their ideas come to life.
The ECHO dot will serve as a interactive, on-demand classroom information center where students can ask questions and learn about real world math situations thus helping them evolve as students.
