This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to build! We are currently building mini-golf holes and arcade games in my engineering classes and after-school programs. The bookshelf and cabinet would be excellent places to store all the supplies we use for prototyping—and it would be nice not to be tripping all over our upcycled supplies for a change since our classroom is storage-challenged!

These creative designs require a lot of supplies such as tape and scissors: I could really use your help in inspiring the next generation of engineers, designers, and architects!

Last, we want to build Rube Goldberg machines for an upcoming MESA competition, but we need the supplies like dominos, dowels, and wooden spools to build the simple machines that make up a good Rube Goldberg machine. We also like to add some artistic flair to our projects, so the paint, paint palettes, and brushes would be used to decorate our work. We're really excited to give this competition our best effort and we really appreciate any support you can give us! Thank you!
