Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to have my students enhance their creativity and imagination. I want them to have blocks, art materials, whiteboards, clipboards to go out and look at nature. Students will be able to use their creativity through theirs hands. They will be able to build, draw, write, etc.
STEAM is all about having students think outside the box and these materials will allow them to do just that.
Have them think and do what they wish to create with no boundaries. This will allow them to explain their thinking through their work! Let's help them think outside the box and express themselves in different ways. These materials will engage their learning through drawing, coloring, painting, and building with all the manipulatives in this project.
Adding some math manipulatives to show the importance and value of money. Allowing each student to have their own personal bad of money. This allows to enrich their learning by using their hands and physically working with materials rather than only using paper and pencil.
