This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th-grade students are from a lower socio-economic neighborhood. I work for a Title I school, which means we provide free or reduced-price lunch for everyone. We are working hard every day improving in our math, writing, and reading skills in order to be ready for middle school next year. My students are a wonderful bunch of kiddos who are eager to learn and really enjoy hands-on activities. My students would greatly benefit from Teachers Pay Teachers materials because I will be able to differentiate my instruction based on the needs of each child.
