My students need Amazon Fire tablets, Bloxels, and Merge Cubes to further their learning and focus on STEAM activities. I hope that the tablets can be utilized during a math, science, and reading.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a small, Title I school. We have many students on the free and reduced lunch program and have a large population of overflow students. Although we are a small school, our school spirit shines! We have a very loving and positive classroom environment that encourages students to try and do their best. We love to cheer, we love to dance, and we love to learn. Our students love for technology grows every day and it's amazing to see their growth every year!
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help me create a STEAM Powered Classroom! Our school site does not have a big budget for technology. Many of the items in class are bought by the teachers or given through donations. My goal for this school year is to help my students become active learners that set goals and rise about those goals. Tablets would be very beneficial to our learning centers.
Students learn best from doing hands on activities that allow them to explore, investigate, and learn collaboratively!
Tablets will help my students become more tech savy while learning. The Bloxel kits will allow them to problem solve and create their own video games, and the Merge Cubes will allow them to explore new worlds of virtual reality. I would love to prepare my students for possible future careers in technology and engineering. I loved seeing how excited my students are during STEAM activities! Please help my students learn while having STEAM powered fun! Thank you!
