Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will combine science, art and engineering to create Paper Robots. Students have been studying electricity and currents in their science class. This STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) project will allow students to explore their creativity through creating a robot character and then put their science knowledge to the test as they use wire tape to create a circuit that lights up the robot.

Paper robots are a creative way for students to practice their science and engineering skills in an artistic project.

Students will love creating a robot that actually works. They will be able to apply practical skills into their creativity. The goal of the project will teach students how circuits in electricity work, while also encouraging creativity.
