My Students
I Teach in Detroit on the near east side. My students are excited about learning. The students come from a variety of backgrounds but they all deserve the best we have to offer. They are returning expecting to be motivated to learn more this year.
The students at our school are very energetic and creative.
Their energy needs to continue to be channeled into positive output. Although the students learn in different ways, they all need a variety of learning strategies to ensure that each student's needs are met.
My Project
Creating lifelong learners can easily be achieved using science. My hope is to positively engage all students in learning using hands-on exploration.
My students need help finding engaging activities that will inspire them.
I have discovered several science kits that will do just that. They will be using the kits to master learning. We will be using the kits in small group to maximize learning.
There is nothing like the expression on a child's face when they finally "get" the concept. Thank you in advance for helping them to achieve this goal. My students and I truly appreciate you and your generous gift to them, to us.
