STEAM into Olympic Adventures

Help me give my students items to learn about the Olympics, compete in Olympic sporting activities, create STEM Olympic themed activities and win prizes.

My Project

I love my school and my position. This is the best career I could ever dream of. Students in my school all receive free breakfast and lunch and are eager to learn. Our school teaches children in grades PreK through fifth grade and we want to provide as many educational, hands-on activities and projects as we can.

I am requesting STEM and Olympic activities, hands on adventures and which will provide my students will a multitude of experiences and knowledge.

Students will be learning about science, technology, engineering and math with a focus on the Olympics. They will be practicing their hockey swing, curling abilities, figure skating, bobsled and skiing adventures. They will create figure skaters and watch them twirl, create skiers and bobsledders and measure the distance they travel. Students and families will play math games, test their balancing skills and also win prizes! Without your help, I wouldn't have the resources needed and I cannot wait for our students to explore and discover STEM in ways that they never thought of. Our students are sponges and I know that they will remember these activities for a very long time.
