This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our elementary school has just become a "STEAM" school. Art has always been a "STEAM" area because it includes science, math, engineering and technology. Art is a wonderful subject because it can provide many interdisciplinary connections across the board. It enriches the lives of those who enjoy it.

My students are elementary art students who love to express themselves using art media of any sort.

Our school is Title One and in a very impoverished area of a large city. The parents are new to our country and very eager for their children to get a good education. My students love art and are very creative.

My Project

I am requesting color ink refills for our color printer in art. I often make my own art worksheets for my students. I need to copy the master pages in art and then mass produce them for our 850 students in the office. When we run out of ink, our printing is at a standstill.

My students need 4 Tri-Color Inkjet Cartridges Triple Pac and 4 PHOTO BLACK High-Yield Inkjet Cartridges.

Having enough ink cartridges available, will help keep our art program on track. We print color, lines, shapes and form worksheets in art which help our ELL students learn to read in English.
