My Project

I love my students' creativity and enthusiasm for learning. Each one has a unique perspective and potential waiting to be unlocked. With a 3D printer in our art class, my students will have the opportunity to bring their imagination to life in tangible ways.

The specific items I'm requesting, such as filament in various colors and textures, will allow my students to explore different materials and techniques, enhancing their understanding of design and innovation.

Additionally, requesting a variety of design software licenses will empower them to learn digital skills alongside traditional art techniques, preparing them for a technology-driven future.

My goals for this project are to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among my students. By integrating 3D printing into our curriculum, I aim to provide them with hands-on experiences that bridge art and technology, encouraging them to explore new avenues of expression and innovation.

What makes my students special is their resilience and eagerness to learn despite any challenges they may face. As an elementary art teacher in a Title I school, I've seen firsthand the determination and potential within each of my students. They inspire me every day with their creativity and enthusiasm, and I believe that providing access to resources like a 3D printer will further ignite their passion for learning and empower them to reach their full potential.
