Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Coming back into the classroom, after being virtual for two years, has been an adventure. Students have been trying their best to navigate their academics along with the world around them. I am amazed by their perseverance and adaptability every single day. They inspire me, they challenge me, and every day we are growing as a classroom family... together!
It is a blessing to be able to be their teacher as well as knowing that there is a whole community out there wanting to give to our classroom.

My Project
Our group is filled with creativity, expression, and empowerment. Having the tools to embark in stop-motion, podcast segments, elementary news episodes, topic-specific performances, as well as presentations, will have a lasting effect on students and their educational experience at our Los Angeles school.
This classroom community is incredibly deserving of the opportunity to explore STEAM activities to the highest potential.
With this donation, students will be able to elevate their knowledge, confidence, and expression. They will have additional tools to inspire one another as well as the entire school when they see what we've been doing!
