S.T.E.A.M. Challenge Supplies

My Project

My students are creative thinkers and amazing problem solvers. I started teaching S.T.E.A.M. at the beginning of this school year and with each engineering challenge I have been blown away by the designs and builds of these children.

My 3rd graders engineered a flood barrier to keep a dog house dry.

They tested absorbent materials first to determine which was the best to use. Ukuleles were constructed out of recycled materials by the 4th graders. They even brought them to music class to test them and consider how to improve their design. And fifth graders engineered Mars rovers that could be driven and coded using Sphero Bolts.

I want to continue to give my students these engaging learning opportunities. I have found most of my challenge ideas from Teachers Pay Teachers and each challenge has it's own specific supply list. Your donations will help me finish out this school year as well as start the next.
