My students have much easier access to my collection of books that are at their reading level, that were housed in a somewhat tricky system previously! Our drawer cart was tough to store books in, and sometimes the drawers stuck, damaging our books and making it hard for students to get what they wanted to read! Now, we have our books organized by reading level on the new cart, and it is at an appropriate heigh for students to reach easily. They also have been helping organize our new books on there as well! Students were SO excited when they saw the cart for the first time, and were very excited to help me transfer books to it in our classroom library! \r\n\r\nI can't wait to buy more books for our \"New Books\" section of our library cart, and my students are also very excited! In the fourth grade classes, they stayed on our planet and built Maine-inspired themed roller coasters in teams of two.\r\n\r\nAnd, with the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I have been able to start planning additional STEAM challenges to continue the learning and fun next year.
