This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Integrating a large dry erase board into our classroom environment will significantly enhance our science curriculum, promote active student engagement, and foster interdisciplinary connections between science, engineering, and the arts. Furthermore, providing personalized dry erase boards for each student would empower them to take ownership of their learning journey. By allowing students to illustrate and label their own diagrams, they can personalize their learning experience, reinforcing their understanding of the curriculum while nurturing creativity and critical thinking skills.

Additionally, incorporating elements of art into their final products not only enriches their learning experience but also encourages interdisciplinary connections between science and the arts.

I aim to not only foster mastery of scientific principles but also to cultivate a mindset of innovation and problem-solving. The ability to seamlessly transition from conceptual understanding to practical application is essential for preparing our students for future careers in STEM fields.
