This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each item in this project is needed to achieve success in my gifted students learning through coding and challenges of all age groups. I hope to increase engagement with and allow my gifted students to critically think with hands-on materials.

STEAM gives students the opportunities to find knowledge on their own and practice valuable skills they will use throughout their lives.

The Dash robot allows students to have a coding curriculum, no matter their level of experience. It will give them pre-built lessons and activities from a menu of fun challenges and exercises, and track progress using a detailed teacher dashboard. The Dash robot is the only coding and robotics provides both a virtual robot in a vibrant 3D environment and physical robots to enhance their learning experience.

The car-shaped indi learning robot is designed to introduce early learners (Pre-K and up) to the fundamentals of computational thinking, STEAM, and computer science principles in a fun and exciting way. Teaching with indi encourages open-ended, imaginative play-based learning with real-life scenarios as learners build custom mazes and solve puzzles. indi offers an unplugged programming experience with an onboard color sensor and interactive color-coded tiles.
