This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to build, create, and use their imagination. Children learn best through play. What better way to foster their learning than through engaging twenty first century products. S.T.E.M. stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. A LEGO coding express train, 3D pens, blocks, and stackable cups are phenomenal resources to teach investigative skills and concepts like cause and effect, and probability.
My students will investigate, create, and explore using a variety of STEM products.
The best part of using these S.T.E.M. products are that students are having so much fun playing, they won't even realize they are learning!
I've also included several sets of non-fiction leveled reading series to enhance their interest in a variety of subjects including improving S.T.E.M. and critical thinking skills.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
