Help me give my students STEM materials such as Kinex kits and LEGO bricks and a storage cabinet to build and solve real world problems and meet the science standards.
My second graders are very enthusiastic about learning. They are hard working and love learning. We do a variety of activities through individual and group exploration.
My students are very creative and motivated to learn.
They have a desire to take control of their own learning. STEM materials would give the class an opportunity to Learn through hands on and creativity. I love that my students want to work together to create and learn.
My students live in a small community and our school includes preschool through 6th grade.
My Project
The Kinex kits and LEGO bricks and storage cabinet will give the students the opportunity to build and create different machines and objects.
Having access to these kits will allow the students to learn to draw out plans and carryout their plans, which will involve engineering and building.
Students will solve problems and work together to create a variety of objects.
The students will learn to explain how they have constructed the items they make and will be able to share and present their plan and explain whether or not their plan worked. They will be able to explain to their classmates and others any changes they made to their plans to make their project work.
