Steady Beat and Rhythm for Early Literacy

My Project

My student would enjoy having their own set of rhythm sticks as I teach them how to use them during our circle/music lessons. It helps build essential phonological awareness and motor skills needed for reading by engaging children in rhythmic, rhyming, and repetitive activities. Music also builds vocabulary and creates a multisensory learning environment that is both effective and enjoyable.

Music provides opportunities for young children to interact with their peers and caregivers in collaborative ways when each participant is encouraged to add their sound or voice along with their friends.
