My Students
The students I have this year are a wonderful, unique group! They work hard and are very happy to be learning at school! Because of the pandemic, I’ve noticed a lot more anxiety and insecurities in students. So doing things that build positivity and tend to their social- emotional needs is very important.
My Project
Every year I have students who do not have a winter coat, hats, or gloves! This continues to be an issue and I want to have the ability to help them out if I need to!
I have a hard time seeing kids out in our freezing temps trying to stay warm in a hooded sweatshirt! This breaks my heart and often is completely out of their control. They do not have the resources to purchase one and often just tough it out in whatever they can find! I want to be able to make them comfortable while they are at school!
