Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a Title I school. They are all eager to learn and grow. Our classroom fosters growth, friendship, and a thirst for learning. They are a very diverse group of students and are some of the sweetest kids I've met!

They enjoy participating in hands-on, student-centered activities and are learning how to work well with one another in small groups.

As an inclusion classroom, I have a wide diversity of social, emotional, and cognitive needs in my classroom. I want to provide the best learning environment possible for their eager minds to grow!

My Project

My students have been out of school since March 13 and will not be returning this school year. I've loved keeping in touch with them over virtual platforms, but I know it would really raise their spirits to receive a special postcard and activity from me at least 2 times a month for the rest of the year.

These materials will allow me to send this words of encouragement directly to their doors despite the social distancing we are experiencing.

I know it would mean the world to them and to me!
