My Students

I have a wonderfully diverse population of students with needs that are just as diverse. This makes for a challenging task but one that I welcome wholeheartedly every day I am able to teach them.

With the majority of our school population being free and reduced, there is only so much we can do with our budgets and keeping our students in well-equipped, 21st century classrooms.

All of our students, no matter where they obtain their education, should have the opportunity to thrive in a well equipped classroom.

As their teacher, I am dedicated to making sure that my students have the necessary skills to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

My Project

The sewing supplies that I have are aged and in bad shape. My classroom is in desperate need of scissors that will cut thread and fabric. Even after sharpening what I have, they still barely cut through thread!

Making things less frustrating for my students when it comes to sewing is key to them having a fun experience!

My goal is to make life long sewers with my students, enabling them to stitch up any thing that needs repair now and in their futures. A very valuable life skill to have!
