I teach an amazing group of 6th grade exceptional education students. We are moving into a new classroom next year and I can't wait to make it feel like home. We spend a lot of time with each other and want to make sure we have an organized and productive classroom as well as make sure we provide all of them with what they need each and every day.
My focus has been on building my students up, supporting them, and teaching them skills to handle their emotions as well as each other.
Adjusting to 6th grade isn't easy and creating a safe space for them to learn and grow is my biggest goal!
