Staying Safe While It's Unsafe

Help me give my students and our staff the safety and protection they need to be safe in this pandemic. Our students have both intellectual disability and autism and we could REALLY use these materials to reinforces safety.

My Students

Our students have Autism and Intellectual Disability along with Speech and Language needs and Occupational Therapy. They come from all different areas of the city and our school qualifies for free lunch.

Despite incredible challenges the students disabilities present each student, they are ALL filled with the LOVE TO LEARN.

The students communicate in a variety of ways. Some of our are non-verbal and use a device to communicate. Some students can communicate simply by talking. All of our students have the ability to succeed with the right tools.

My Project

Our students and staff come to school EVERY SINGLE DAY during this pandemic. We know it is much better for our students to be able to come to school, please help us to keep our kids safe while we work during this pandemic.

Recently with Omicron we have been able to keep our classroom doors open.

Our students need the added safety of a clean classroom and proper PPE, specifically becasuse they have both Autism and Intellectual Disabiliteis and may have difficulty doing this independently.

With the donation of the PPE and cleaning supplies we will be able to keep our classroom safe a free of germs in addtiion to giving our staff a sense of safelt we are looking for. We are so grateful for considering our project. Be Safe!!
